🧠 Job Description – Sr. Software Engineer (Linux Device Drivers)
Tech Mahindra is hiring experienced Senior Software Engineers with strong expertise in Linux Device Driver development. The role involves designing, developing, debugging, and maintaining low-level software components for embedded and Linux-based systems.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Linux device drivers
- Work closely with hardware and firmware teams for driver integration
- Debug kernel-level issues and performance bottlenecks
- Implement and optimize driver code for stability and scalability
- Analyze system crashes, kernel logs, and memory issues
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Support driver bring-up for new hardware platforms
🛠️ Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong experience in Linux Device Driver Development
- Good understanding of Linux Kernel Internals
- Experience with Embedded Linux systems
- Proficiency in C programming
