Wipro has upgraded its mission-critical HR systems by moving its Oracle databases to Oracle Base Database Service on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This shift has helped Wipro improve recruitment system performance by more than 50 percent and cut payroll processing time by 60 percent.
The company used Oracle Interconnect for Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure to migrate workloads with low latency. With more than 230,000 employees across 65 countries, Wipro is strengthening its internal systems as part of its broader AI-first digital transformation strategy.
Oracle notes that this multicloud approach gives enterprises the flexibility to run mission-critical workloads across OCI, Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS. Wipro now benefits from better performance, stronger security, and optimized operating costs.
