Role Overview – Google Cloud DevOps
Wipro is looking for an experienced Google Cloud DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in SRE principles, automation, analytics platforms, and large-scale cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on building resilient, scalable, and highly available solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable analytics platforms on Google Cloud
- Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and incident management
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Deployment Manager
- Implement monitoring and observability using Dynatrace and Google Cloud Monitoring
- Automate processes to improve system reliability, performance, and availability
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, and project managers
- Ensure high-quality customer interaction and timely delivery
Technical Skills Required
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Google Cloud analytics and big data services: BigQuery, Pub/Sub
- Experience with Vertex AI integration and deployment
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Deployment Manager
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation
- Containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, GKE
- Observability tools: Dynatrace, Cloud Monitoring
- Linux, networking, and cloud security best practices
- Foundational knowledge of Python
- Experience with serverless architectures is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Cloud Platform Certification
- Strong understanding of DevOps and SRE best practices
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
