Key Responsibilities
- Ensure optimal performance and scalability of software applications, systems, and infrastructure.
- Implement performance testing tools and frameworks, develop test plans, and execute exploratory testing.
- Promote awareness of performance-related techniques and issues within the development team.
- Develop and execute performance test strategies for new software releases.
- Acquire and integrate performance testing tools into CI/CD workflows.
- Conduct exploratory testing and validate features in an Agile development process.
- Advise development teams on performance enhancements.
- Perform software development/QA in production environments, including front-end and API testing.
- Conduct web application performance testing (Load Balancers, Linux, Postgres, Rails, Node.js).
- Monitor database server performance and write SQL queries.
- Utilize JavaScript and scripting languages (Java, Ruby, Python).
- Build and integrate test frameworks within CI tools like SVN/GIT, Jenkins, Ant, Maven, Puppet, JIRA.
- Use performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, WebLoad).
