Job Overview:
Intuit is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Systems Engineering team in Bangalore. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level cloud infrastructure supporting millions of customers. You will work with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS technologies to ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance of cloud systems, while contributing to DevOps/SRE practices and automation.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain complex data systems with Cloud Native principles.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Deploy services in Kubernetes clusters using Helm, Kustomize, etc.
- Contribute to infrastructure changes in AWS and optimize for performance, scalability, and cost.
- Participate in on-call rotation for pre-production and production systems.
- Write and review RCA (Root Cause Analysis) documents to prevent recurring incidents.
- Lead major system upgrades, deployment automation, monitoring, and production changes.
- Create operational playbooks and contribute knowledge-sharing articles.
- Conduct FMEA/Chaos testing, security remediation, and implement best practices for operational excellence.
- Automate repetitive tasks and reduce manual interventions.
- Develop AI-driven AIOps tools to enhance operational efficiency for developers and customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of hands-on development and operations experience in AWS environments.
- Expertise in high-availability architecture, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and DR strategies.
- Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and AWS services.
- Experience in DevOps automation using scripting languages (Python, Java, Ruby).
- Strong experience in monitoring and observability using Splunk, Wavefront, AppDynamics, Prometheus, tracing tools, etc.
- Knowledge of Cloud best practices and operational excellence principles.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience in AI/ML-driven AIOps solutions.
- Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
- Experience designing scalable cloud systems supporting millions of users.
