Mphasis is seeking a highly skilled L3 Network & Security Engineer to join its 24×7 Global Network Operations Center (GNOC). This role demands deep hands-on expertise across routing, switching, security appliances, and network infrastructure operations. You will collaborate closely with L1 & L2 teams while ensuring high availability, robust security posture, and smooth network operations.
Who Are We Looking For?
A strong L3 engineer with expertise in:
- Routing, Switching, Wireless
- Network Security (Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Proxy)
- Managing 24×7 infra operations
- Handling critical incidents, changes, and escalations
You will be part of the GNOC environment, supporting enterprise-grade networks and delivering high uptime and compliance.
Technical Skills Required
Primary Skills
- Advanced experience in Routing & Switching
- Hands-on with all major routing protocols
- Experience with Cisco, HP, Aruba network devices
- Strong troubleshooting & analysis capabilities
- Wireless technologies exposure
Secondary Skills – Network Security
Experience across major security appliances:
- Cisco
- HP
- Aruba
- Palo Alto
- Fortigate
- Firewall, IDS/IPS, Proxy
L3 Responsibilities
- Provide Level-3 support for incidents, changes & service requests
- Guide and supervise L1 & L2 engineers
- Perform device upgrades, migrations, integrations
- Update network diagrams for infrastructure changes
- Coordinate with OEMs for fixes & enhancements
- Execute failover tests and drive corrective actions
- Work on log analysis, policy creation, and SOC escalations
- Ensure adherence to domain SOPs
- Participate in shift-based 24×7 operations
- Conduct training & promote new technology adoption
- Maintain standardization and high availability across infra
Process Skills
- VA Fixing & Monitoring exposure
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Incident / Change / Request Management
- Basic understanding of AWS & Azure cloud configurations
- Scripting: VB / PowerShell

Qualifications
