- Manage and support Linux / UNIX systems in Oracle Datacenters and OCI
- Handle infrastructure service requests using ITIL framework
- Maintain and troubleshoot VMware & OLVM environments
- Resolve production issues related to:
- Disk expansion
- CPU & Memory upgrades
- VM performance
- Perform performance tuning and system optimization
- Work with SAN / Storage provisioning & reclaiming
- Manage multi-pathing software (HP Auto-Path, MPIO, SecurePath)
- Collaborate with Network, Storage, and Hardware teams
- Work on incident and service tickets using BMC Remedy / JIRA
- Provide rotational on-call support (weekdays & weekends)
- Coordinate with vendors for support and consulting
π― Required Skills & Technical Expertise
- Strong experience in Linux / UNIX administration
- Virtualization knowledge:
- VMware (ESXi, vCenter, vMotion, DRS, HA)
- OLVM (plus)
- Datacenter infrastructure operations experience
- Knowledge of SAN / Storage systems and networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with HPE ProLiant BL & DL servers
- Hardware management tools:
- iLO
- Onboard Administrator
- iDRAC
- Performance monitoring tools (Event Viewer, Network Monitor)
- Hands-on experience with ITSM tools (BMC Remedy, JIRA)
- Basic scripting knowledge
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

- Bachelorβs degree in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent experience
