HCLTech is hiring an SME – AWS PaaS, Terraform to lead cloud support operations, manage escalations, and ensure high-quality service delivery across AWS PaaS environments. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in AWS cloud services, Terraform (IaC), incident management, and stakeholder communication.
As a Subject Matter Expert, you will play a critical role in maintaining operational excellence, mentoring teams, and driving continuous improvement across cloud platforms.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Ensure on-time resolution and quality compliance of escalated incidents and tickets in AWS PaaS & Terraform environments
- Adhere to SLA, quality standards, and compliance requirements
- Mentor administrators and team members; prepare SOPs and operational documentation
- Validate change implementation plans and ensure error-free execution
- Participate in AWS capacity planning and cloud optimization discussions
- Drive customer satisfaction (CSAT) through effective communication and issue resolution
- Validate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Trend Analysis reports
- Prepare and present performance and operational reports to business stakeholders
🎯 Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS PaaS services
- Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in incident management, escalation handling, and SLA governance
- Strong documentation skills (SOPs, KB articles, reports)
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of capacity planning, change management, and cloud governance
🎓 Certifications (Optional but Preferred)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
- HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
