🧩 Job Overview
SAP is hiring a Service Execution Specialist – Enhanced Operations Service (SAP Basis, HANA) to join its Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS – EOS) team in Bangalore. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality service execution, operational excellence, and continuous improvement for SAP’s strategic enterprise cloud customers.
You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring stability, performance, and reliability of SAP landscapes while meeting strict KPI and SLA commitments.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Execute planned customer changes as per schedules while achieving service KPIs and SLAs
- Handle critical service requests during key customer lifecycle phases
- Respond rapidly during escalations and ensure zero delivery impact
- Drive continuous service improvement initiatives
- Analyze customer feedback and enhance service execution quality
- Coordinate across multiple SAP internal teams and stakeholders
- Improve operational processes through automation and standardization
- Streamline SOPs and daily operational workflows
💻 What You’ll Build
- SAP Basis lifecycle events (Upgrades, Updates, System Copies)
- SAP HANA, NetWeaver, Business Objects, Sybase ASE environments
- SAP Cloud Connector, S/4HANA support (added advantage)
- Disaster recovery strategies and Linux Pacemaker environments
- Managed services for SAP Private & Public Cloud platforms
🎓 Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT
- 5–6 years experience as SAP NetWeaver (ABAP & Java) Basis Consultant
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- SAP Basis & HANA DB
- UNIX/Linux systems
- Business Objects (BOBI, BODS)
- SAP Sybase ASE
- Knowledge of networking and storage fundamentals
- Cloud exposure: AWS, Azure, or GCP
- ITIL framework exposure (preferred)
- Excellent documentation and customer-facing skills
- Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset
