🎯 Job Summary
The Senior Specialist – Software Engineering will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining highly scalable Java-based applications using modern architecture patterns, cloud services, and DevOps practices.
🧩 Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop Java-based server-side applications
- Apply software architecture and design patterns for scalable systems
- Build and maintain microservices using Spring Boot
- Ensure adherence to SOLID principles and clean code practices
- Write comprehensive unit tests using JUnit
- Work with Oracle and MySQL databases, including complex SQL queries
- Implement persistence using JDBC, JPA, and Hibernate
- Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes
- Integrate and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI
- Implement observability and monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry
- Work with distributed systems and event-driven architectures using Kafka and SQS
🧠 Experience Required
- 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Java-based software development
- Strong experience in J2EE frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot)
- Experience with microservices and cloud-native architectures
- Hands-on exposure to AWS services, especially AWS Lambda
