HCL Technologies is hiring an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Lead to oversee reliability operations, system performance, and incident management across mission-critical platforms. This leadership role focuses on ensuring system uptime, scalability, and automation while mentoring a high-performing SRE team.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Site Reliability Engineers to ensure system stability and uptime
- Handle incidents, service requests, and problem management effectively
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to improve system scalability and performance
- Design and maintain SRE documentation, SOPs, and operational best practices
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency
- Monitor system performance and proactively recommend optimization strategies
- Participate in on-call rotations to support 24/7 system availability
- Mentor, evaluate, and guide team members for continuous improvement
🛠 Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices
- Experience with incident management, monitoring, and performance tuning tools
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms, microservices, and container technologies
- Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
