IBM is hiring a Quality Engineer – Automation to join its IBM Consulting Client Innovation Center in Noida. In this role, you will work with global clients to deliver high-quality software solutions by designing and implementing robust automation testing frameworks across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
This opportunity is ideal for early professionals with strong automation testing experience who want to build a long-term career in a top MNC service-based IT company while working on modern cloud and enterprise applications.
🔧 Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy automation testing solutions
- Reduce manual testing efforts using effective automation frameworks
- Apply automated tools across all phases of the SDLC
- Support test teams by recommending testing tools and best practices
- Automate test management, reporting, test data generation, and defect management
- Work closely with Agile/Scrum teams to support continuous delivery
🧠 Required Technical & Professional Skills
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Testing Life Cycle
- Hands-on experience with Java (1.7)
- Automation tools: Selenium / Appium / Cucumber / BDD
- Testing frameworks: TestNG / JUnit
- Build & CI tools: Ant / Maven / Jenkins
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
⭐ Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ARIC (Feature Space product)
- Experience with Python
- Web Services / API testing experience
- Self-driven professional capable of working independently
🎓 Educational Qualification
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree
- Preferred: Master’s Degree
