🚀 Job Description
Genpact is inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant – Cloud Engineer.
In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing, and delivering high-quality cloud solutions, while continuously learning and adopting new technologies. You will play a key role in designing secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure.
🧑💻 Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain approved Terraform IaC modules to ensure consistency and security
- Manage AWS Landing Zone resources including accounts, VPCs, IAM, and logging
- Participate in Security Architecture Reviews, including diagramming and evidence collection
- Design and implement best practices for security, reliability, performance, and cost optimization
- Mentor junior team members on secure Cloud Operations and IaC principles
- Provide Tier 1/2 AWS production support aligned to IST time zone
- Ensure operational excellence across cloud platforms
✅ Minimum Qualifications
- BE / B.Tech / MCA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
⭐ Preferred Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
- AWS Cloud Architect Associate certification or equivalent
- Strong AWS experience, preferably in Financial Services
- Expertise in Terraform, source control, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
- Experience with Access Management, IAM, and IdP tools (Okta)
- Hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX and Docker or container technologies
- Familiarity with DMZ-based network architectures
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-performing teams
