Job Overview
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Oracle Health, you will play a key role in designing, deploying, and optimizing mission-critical healthcare applications. You will ensure high availability, scalability, security, and operational excellence across development, test, and production environments while helping modernize healthcare systems globally.
This role is ideal for professionals passionate about DevOps, Kubernetes, automation, observability, and reliability engineering in regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end reliability and operational excellence across all environments
- Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines, eliminating manual toil through automation and IaC
- Establish and enforce observability best practices (monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting)
- Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and availability targets
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and blameless postmortems
- Serve as escalation point for high-severity production incidents
- Improve system resilience using fault isolation, redundancy, and graceful degradation
- Influence architecture and platform decisions with a reliability-first mindset
- Champion production readiness, security, and compliance standards
- Partner with Security & Compliance teams for secure deployments and audit readiness
- Mentor engineers and promote SRE best practices and DevOps culture
Required Technical Skills
- 5+ years experience in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in scripting:
- Python, Bash, PowerShell
- Containerization & orchestration:
- Docker, Kubernetes
- Kubernetes tooling:
- Helm, deployments, cluster management
- Monitoring & logging:
- Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog, OCI Monitoring
- Infrastructure as Code:
- Terraform
- Networking expertise:
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, UDP, IPSec
- Cloud experience:
- AWS, OCI, or Azure
- Secure deployments:
- IAM, secrets, certificates
- Strong understanding of:
