About the Role
The Software Engineer – DevOps Automation will be part of the Health Sciences Engineering team focused on automation, performance, quality, and scalability for Oracle’s cloud-based life sciences solutions.
This role emphasizes development and deployment automation, integrating AI-driven solutions, and working across the product lifecycle to enhance efficiency and reliability in cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java, JavaScript, Selenium, WebDriverIO, and CI/CD tools.
- Work hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and other cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, scalability, and automation coverage.
- Define and implement test automation standards within Agile SDLC and DevOps frameworks.
- Lead complex automation projects and mentor junior engineers.
- Integrate AI and analytics into CI/CD pipelines for smarter testing.
- Ensure compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and HIPAA standards for healthcare software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology.
- 5–7 years of experience in software engineering, automation, or testing.
- Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or React.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful API testing, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in SQL, Oracle Database, and Linux scripting.
- Experience with AI-driven automation or modern DevOps practices.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- REST API and integration testing expertise.
- Familiarity with microservices, containerization, and cloud-native development.
- Experience mentoring teams and leading automation projects.
