About the Role
Oracle is looking for a Consulting Technical Manager – Java & AWS to lead its Modern Data Platform Practice. You will design and architect next-generation data platforms, define engineering design, evaluate tools across On-Prem and Cloud, and lead pre-sales, POCs, and MVPs.
This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge data solutions while collaborating with global teams and top enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Modern Data Platform architecture & design across On-Prem and Cloud.
- Define data engineering design and technology stack for enterprise clients.
- Implement batch and streaming data integrations using Kafka and 3rd-party tools.
- Drive pre-sales discussions, RFP responses, and technical POCs.
- Ensure data governance, quality, and security for data platforms.
- Demonstrate AI/ML models for processing and generating business insights.
- Mentor and build strong data engineering teams.
Qualifications & Skills
✔️ BE/BTech/MCA in Computer Science / IT / Data Technologies.
✔️ 12–16 years of Data Engineering & Analytics experience.
✔️ 5–7 years hands-on in Big Data systems (On-Prem & Cloud).
✔️ Strong programming in Java, Scala, or Python.
✔️ Expertise in SQL, Kafka, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Confluent.
✔️ Proven experience in Data Governance & Quality frameworks.
✔️ Familiarity with RDBMS technologies and Data Visualization tools.
✔️ Strong leadership, analytical, and presentation skills.
