Overview
Join the Microsoft Azure Networking team, responsible for designing, building, and operating critical network services that power the world’s most trusted cloud platform.
As part of this high-impact team, you will help build Software Defined Networking (SDN) infrastructure to support mission-critical workloads with agility, scalability, and security.
You’ll collaborate across multiple Azure teams to deliver reliable cloud networking solutions, driving innovation and helping enterprises securely run workloads on Azure.
Qualifications
✅ Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4+ years of technical engineering experience in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Experience developing software for Azure, AWS, or other major cloud platforms
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Team collaboration and communication skills
- Must clear Microsoft Cloud Background Check (upon hire and every two years)
💡 Preferred:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 2+ years of experience in building and operating distributed systems software
- 2+ years of experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN) (preferred)
- Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable Software Defined Networking services in Azure
- Deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance network solutions
- Lead development cycles with project management collaboration
- Act as Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for service reliability and performance
- Troubleshoot and optimize for scalability and availability
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across Azure Networking services
