This role is part of the Azure Storage Developer Experience team, focusing on SDKs, CLI, and PowerShell tools that allow customers to interact seamlessly with Azure Storage.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze user requirements
- Develop design documents for applications, services, and platforms
- Create, implement, optimize, and debug code to improve performance and ROI
- Partner with project managers and stakeholders to deliver release plans and project items
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to ensure system uptime and quick issue resolution
- Proactively adapt to new technologies to improve availability, scalability, and efficiency
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or related) AND 4+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 2+ years of experience in scalable systems or services
- Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s with 8+ years or Master’s with 6+ years of engineering experience
- Advanced expertise in software architecture, design, and coding
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Pay Range (U.S.): USD $119,800 – $234,700 annually
- Bay Area & NYC Range: USD $158,400 – $258,000 annually
- Eligible for Microsoft’s benefits and additional compensation packages.
