TCS is hiring an experienced Linux System Administrator to manage enterprise Linux environments. The role involves Linux server administration, scripting, system monitoring, and networking support across mission-critical infrastructure platforms.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Linux-based systems in enterprise environments
- Perform Linux command-line operations and system administration tasks
- Write and maintain scripts using Bash and Python
- Monitor system performance and availability using monitoring tools
- Troubleshoot OS, application, and networking-related issues
- Manage server uptime, performance tuning, and incident resolution
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure stable operations
- Support IT infrastructure services as per organizational standards
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
✅ Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent degree
- 5+ years of experience as a Linux System Administrator
- Strong command-line and Linux administration skills
- Hands-on experience with Bash and Python scripting
⭐ Preferred Skills
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, Zabbix
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work in production IT environments
