💼 Job Description – Lead Consultant, DevOps Engineer
Genpact is inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant – DevOps Engineer.
In this role, you will design, build, and manage scalable healthcare cloud infrastructure, develop automated CI/CD pipelines, and ensure secure, compliant deployments across mission-critical systems.
This position is ideal for professionals passionate about DevOps excellence, cloud-native technologies, leadership, and healthcare innovation.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable healthcare infrastructure using Terraform (IaC)
- Build, operate, and maintain Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of clinical and patient-facing systems
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for faster and safer application releases
- Collaborate with engineering teams on deployments for EHR, billing, scheduling, and telehealth systems
- Implement blue/green and canary deployments to reduce downtime
- Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in healthcare workloads
- Drive reliability engineering, disaster recovery, and resilience strategies
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and healthcare regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices
- Stay updated with emerging DevOps and cloud-native technologies
🎓 Qualifications Required
✅ Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience in DevOps Engineering
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes (setup, scaling, monitoring, troubleshooting)
- Hands-on experience with Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge of Linux, networking, Docker, and containerization
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
⭐ Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience in Healthcare Technology (HealthTech) is mandatory
- Strong understanding of EHR/EMR systems and patient data security
- Knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, and healthcare compliance standards
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience leading quality or reliability initiatives
- Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR interoperability standards
