💼 Job Description
Infosys is hiring skilled Kubernetes Engineers to manage and optimize enterprise-grade Kubernetes environments. The role focuses on Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management, security hardening, upgrades, performance optimization, and integration with cloud platforms such as Azure AKS and Google GKE.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Kubernetes Core Responsibilities
- Administer and manage the end-to-end Kubernetes cluster lifecycle
- Handle provisioning, configuration, hardening, monitoring, logging, health checks, backup, recovery, and remediation
- Design and execute Kubernetes upgrade strategies, including:
- Planning and environment preparation
- Control plane and worker node upgrades
- Testing, validation, and rollback procedures
- Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes components:
- CRI (Container Runtime Interface)
- CNI (Container Network Interface)
- CSI (Container Storage Interface)
- Ingress Controllers
- Service Mesh (where applicable)
- Implement Kubernetes security best practices, including:
- RBAC
- Network policies
- Secret management
- Optimize cluster performance through resource tuning, network optimization, and bottleneck resolution
☁️ Cloud & Platform Experience (Added Advantage)
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Deploying and managing AKS clusters
- Node scaling, networking, storage configuration
- Integration with Azure services
- Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Managing GKE clusters and node pools
- Configuring networking and storage
- Integrating with GCP services
🐧 Linux & Infrastructure Responsibilities
- Strong Linux system administration
- Server configuration, patching, and troubleshooting
- Performance monitoring and security hardening
- Shell scripting for automation
- User and permissions management
- Ensuring stability and security of underlying infrastructure hosting open-source platforms
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
✅ Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or equivalent
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Kubernetes administration
- Strong Linux administration skills

- Azure Container Security – Azure Kubernetes Service
- Google Cloud Platform – Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Cloud security best practices for container platforms
