💼 Job Description
As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing cloud infrastructure. This role requires advanced technical expertise in cloud platforms and a strong understanding of cloud operational practices to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.
🔧 Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day cloud operations across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Manage incident resolution and root cause analysis for cloud infrastructure issues.
- Optimize cloud resource usage and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, backups, and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to streamline cloud deployments.
- Maintain operational documentation and runbooks.
- Monitor system metrics using cloud-native and third-party tools.
🛠️ Required Skills
- Expertise in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong knowledge of cloud automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker, and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of monitoring, alerting, and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
