📌 Job Description
Infosys Limited is seeking a Systems Engineer for its Bangalore office. The candidate will play a key role in managing infrastructure operations, application deployment, and hosting support across Windows and Linux server platforms.
🔹 Core Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Operations
- Perform routine system administration on Windows and Linux servers
- Manage and maintain IIS web servers, including site configurations and performance monitoring
- Execute server monitoring and troubleshooting for Linux environments
- Ensure system and data security through established policies and controls
- Maintain server inventory, documentation, and operational runbooks
Application Deployment & Support
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy new applications and updates
- Provide hosting support for applications on IIS, including performance tuning, log review, and troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve application connectivity and availability issues
- Automate deployment processes using scripting and relevant tools
- Proactively monitor deployed applications for performance and error handling
