Job Description
As part of the Infosys consulting team, you will contribute to multiple phases of project execution — from problem definition and solution design to deployment and support. This role requires strong expertise in Linux administration, system troubleshooting, and scripting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist consulting teams in problem definition, effort estimation, solution generation, and deployment.
- Conduct research and build Proofs of Concept (POCs) for proposed solutions.
- Create requirement specifications and define to-be processes and functional designs.
- Configure solutions, diagnose root causes of issues, and identify resolution alternatives.
- Contribute to organizational initiatives and ensure delivery of high-quality, value-driven solutions.
Technical & Professional Requirements
- Strong Linux domain knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on experience in RedHat Linux OS, LVM, and RAID.
- Knowledge of RedHat Clusters and OS performance tuning.
- Experience in enterprise-level support environments.
- Proficiency with RHEL, Debian, Ubuntu, and other Linux distributions.
- Installation, updates, and patch management experience.
- Scripting expertise in Bash.
- Exposure to virtualization and cloud platforms.
- RHCE certification preferred.
