Job Description:
Infosys is hiring an experienced Chef Infra Engineer to manage, configure, and optimize Chef-based automation across large-scale Linux environments. The role involves Chef Infra, Chef Automate, and Chef 365 lifecycle management along with Linux expertise and optional exposure to AWS database and search platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, configuration, maintenance & upgrades of Chef Infrastructure (Linux environment).
- Install, configure, maintain & upgrade Chef Automate and Chef 365.
- Troubleshoot Chef server, Chef client, and overall configuration management flows.
- Expert-level hands-on experience with Red Hat Linux (RHCE Certification preferred).
Additional Responsibilities (Optional):
- Troubleshooting AWS PostgresDB.
- Troubleshooting AWS OpenSearch.
Preferred Skills:
- DevOps → Puppet
- Configuration Management → CHEF
- Release Management
- Strong Linux fundamentals and automation capabilities
