💼 Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and test big data solutions using Hadoop, Spark, and PySpark.
- Design pipelines/workflows for source-to-target data transformation.
- Integrate unstructured data and manage database complexities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data architecture.
- Apply cloud and open-source tools for performance optimization.
- Evaluate and deploy best-fit tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
🛠️ Technical Skills
- Must Have: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, PySpark, SQL, Java, Python, Scala, Linux
- ETL tools, data integration/federation platforms
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP (basic knowledge acceptable)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration is a plus
- Understanding of machine learning/predictive analytics (preferred)
🎓 Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree
- Preferred: Master’s Degree
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant industry experience
