Job Description
Join IBM Consulting Client Innovation Center in Bangalore and work on delivering deep technical and industry expertise across global projects. As an Infrastructure Specialist (Azure Platform), you will be responsible for troubleshooting, optimizing, and managing Azure environments while driving cloud-based innovation for enterprise clients.
This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with strong Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS knowledge who are passionate about cloud infrastructure management and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve customer issues efficiently and permanently.
- Troubleshoot complex technical and design issues.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams for continuous service improvement.
- Manage, optimize, and monitor Azure services and infrastructure.
Required Technical & Professional Expertise
- 3–5 years of experience in Azure cloud administration or infrastructure roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services including:
- VM, Load Balancer, Storage Account, Application Gateway, VNET, NSG, Key Vault, Backup, and Disaster Recovery.
- Azure Web App, Function App, Logic App, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Docker, Event Hub, Redis Cache, Service Mesh, App Insight, Databricks, and AD.
- Experience in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Security management experience including firewall (FortiGate) administration.
Preferred Technical Experience
- Monitoring through Cloud Native tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, CloudTrail, Activity Log, or LogInsight.
- Server management across Windows, Linux, AIX, and Ubuntu environments.
- Hands-on experience in storage monitoring and management (Blob, S3, Backups, Snapshots).
