In this role, you’ll be part of IBM’s Client Innovation Centers, delivering deep technical expertise and driving adoption of new cloud technologies for public and private sector clients.
About the Role
As an Associate Infrastructure Specialist (AWS Platform), you’ll support infrastructure across industries like transportation, energy, insurance, banking, and healthcare. You’ll deliver cloud solutions using AWS and hybrid models, ensuring system stability, scalability, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, analyze, and review technical architecture on required platforms.
- Scope and detail technical requirements into viable solutions.
- Manage configuration, system tools, backup, and recovery processes.
- Support technical consultants and lead solution building and mentoring.
- Stay current with cloud trends and provide expert recommendations.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS implementation and administration.
- Strong knowledge in server migration from legacy to cloud (AWS).
- Experience in provisioning, operating, and maintaining AWS systems.
- Familiarity with cloud providers like Azure, IBM Cloud, Google Cloud, Alibaba, and Oracle Cloud.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking in managing complex infrastructure.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to basic data science concepts.
- Initiative to actively seek new knowledge and upgrade skills.
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and meet deadlines.
