🔧 About the Role – Site Reliability Engineer
As part of the Pipeline Production Operations Team, you will support customers using Oracle Analytics Warehouse, which includes a sophisticated cloud-based data warehouse and analytics platform. This role focuses on ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of analytics services.
You will collaborate closely with development teams, handle customer cases, enhance automation, and improve the overall customer experience.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve customer tickets within defined SLAs
- Proactively identify & resolve recurring issues
- Analyze logs, diagnose network latency, and troubleshoot data issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for problem resolution
- Provide detailed insights into customer queries and follow through to closure
- Reproduce issues using logs, configurations, and diagnostic tools
- Maintain and enhance knowledge base & documentation
- Prioritize workload based on case severity
- Build utilities/tools for automation & operational efficiency
- Work in rotational shifts, including weekends
🛠 Required Skills & Qualifications
- BE / BTech / Equivalent degree in CS, Engineering, or related field
- Experience supporting Cloud / On-Premise BI Applications
- Strong SQL / PL-SQL, troubleshooting & debugging skills
- Log analysis & network latency diagnosis
- Functional knowledge in ERP, Finance, HCM, or Oracle EBS
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion applications (added advantage)
- Programming skills in Python or Java
- Understanding of ETL pipelines and SQL performance tuning
- Exposure to OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
- Build & Release activities experience
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
