As a Site Reliability Developer 3, you will work on solving deep, high-impact cloud and infrastructure problems while improving reliability, scalability, performance, and security of Oracle’s new healthcare-focused AI platforms. You will play a critical role in designing and implementing solutions that ensure zero-downtime updates, advanced automation, and seamless cloud operations across global data centers.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
🔹 Service Ownership
- Own end-to-end reliability, availability & performance of Oracle’s EHR/Clinical AI cloud services.
- Understand system architecture, dependencies, and operational workflows.
- Participate in LiveSite operations to quickly mitigate issues and prevent service degradation.
🔹 Service Design
- Build solutions to deliver zero-downtime deployments for software & security updates.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to strengthen automation frameworks.
- Analyze failures and build rapid response systems and recovery strategies.
🔹 Operations Engineering
- Evaluate performance across multiple data centers (commercial & government).
- Monitor service degradation under heavy load and implement corrective actions.
- Manage resource utilization, scaling, and capacity planning for production-grade systems.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory security standards.
🔹 Automation & DevOps
- Identify, design, and implement automation for SRE procedures to eliminate human errors.
- Improve reliability and operational efficiency through orchestration and automated workflows.
🔹 Technical & Incident Expertise
- Resolve complex production incidents and serve as an escalation expert.
- Develop deep expertise in ML, AI assistant systems, and related cloud-native architectures.
- Guide engineering teams on performance, scaling, security, and distributed system fundamentals.
🛠 Required Skills & Technical Expertise
Core Technical Skills
- 5+ years experience as a Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer
- Strong expertise in:
- OCI, AWS, GCP or Azure
- Kubernetes (managed cloud Kubernetes)
- Docker, Helm
- Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Jaeger
- Experience troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
- Strong scripting experience in Python, Perl, or Shell
Infrastructure & DevOps
- Terraform, Shepherd (IaC)
- Git/GitHub version control
- CI/CD operational best practices
- Linux/Unix systems administration
Educational Qualification
- BS/MS in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
Mindset & Soft Skills
- Excellent communication & teamwork
