SAP Labs India is seeking a Linux Administration Associate to join the IT Technology Services team. This role focuses on SAP landscape operations, Linux server administration, cloud technologies, and global support, providing a strong foundation for early-career IT professionals.

As an IT Technology Services Associate, you will:
- Handle incidents, alerts, and service requests
- Deliver and maintain complex SAP landscapes with technical expertise
- Plan, implement, and operate SAP technologies meeting SLAs
- Configure and administer server landscapes focusing on Linux OS
- Troubleshoot hardware, OS, application, and database issues affecting business operations
- Manage daily operations ensuring high availability
- Document operational concepts and guidelines for SAP landscapes
- Coordinate with international teams on global projects and crisis handling
- Specialize in one area (Basis/application, OS, or database) while supporting all topic areas
🎯 What You’ll Bring
- BE/BTech/MCA from a reputable institute
- 1–3 years of experience in Linux administration
- IT experience with DNS, LDAP, Samba, sFTP, Sendmail, Postfix
- Exposure to at least one public cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Understanding of NFS, BlockDevice, RAID concepts
- Scripting experience: Shell, Perl, Python, Go, or similar
- Experience with virtualization (XEN, VMware)
- Knowledge of OS monitoring, backup/restore, and configuration automation (Chef)
- Ability to work in a 24×7 global follow-the-sun model with rotational shifts
- Capable of creating technical documentation and KBAs
- Analytical, solution-oriented thinking
- Basic knowledge of network and storage concepts
Preferred:
- Knowledge of SAP products like Content Server, Convergent Charging, MDM, OpenText, SAP Cloud Connector
- Experience as SAP NetWeaver Technical Consultant
- Knowledge of Business Object Products (BOBI, BODS)
- Experience with UNIX/Linux environments, HANA DB, Sybase ASE
- Familiarity with ITIL framework
