SAP Labs India is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect & Advisor to join the Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) Cloud Architecture & Advisory team. This role blends cloud architecture, reference architecture ownership, and pre-sales technical advisory, ideal for experienced SAP technology consultants.
🌟 Job Summary
As an ECS Cloud Architect & Advisor, you will:
Reference Architecture Ownership:
- Lead Reference Architecture topics for various hyperscale platforms and SAP solutions
- Collaborate with ECS Technology & Architecture, Service Engineering, Data Management, and other teams to create new Reference Architecture artifacts
- Conduct quarterly review and updates of Reference Architecture artifacts
Pre-Sales Engagement:
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers during sales cycles
- Present technical, security, and operational aspects of SAP Cloud ERP Private Edition
- Conduct workshops to define “to-be” architecture and blueprint customer requirements (HA/DR, Business Continuity, Security & Compliance, Networks)
- Generate pricing and provide ongoing deal support to sales teams
🎯 What You’ll Bring
- 12–15 years of experience in SAP Technology Consulting (Basis Admin, DB Admin, Migrations, Upgrades, Business Continuity, Operations)
- 10+ years of experience in solution design, enterprise architecture, or SAP implementation
- Customer-facing pre-sales experience is an advantage
- Hands-on experience with IaaS providers (AWS, MS Azure, or GCP); AliCloud or STACKIT is a plus
- Technical skills in SAP HANA and S/4HANA
- Excellent proficiency in English (other languages are a bonus)
- Strong SAP product knowledge, operational understanding, and hyperscaler expertise
- Willingness for customer-related travel on short notice
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration
