Job Description
The Group Manager – Google Cloud Platform (GCP) role is responsible for leading technical solution design, client engagement, and pre-sales architecture. This role involves working with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders to develop innovative cloud strategies, proposals, and go-to-market (GTM) propositions aligned with client goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical aspects of RFPs and RFIs, ensuring proposed solutions align with client objectives.
- Collaborate with sales teams and technical stakeholders to identify business needs and pain points.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions and workshops with clients.
- Design and architect Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions using Compute Engine, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and AI/ML services.
- Deliver technical presentations, POCs, and product demos to demonstrate GCP solution capabilities.
- Build relationships with key technical decision-makers and executives to position HCLTech as a trusted GCP partner.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to delivery.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive insights, and emerging technologies such as Generative AI and advanced analytics.
- Develop and manage GTM collateral and case studies, aligning with business and marketing objectives.
- Partner with Sales (Hunting & Farming) teams on strategic focus areas and account growth.
Skill Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience designing and implementing GCP-based solutions.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and serverless architectures.
- Deep expertise in Data Analytics, AI/ML, Security, or Infrastructure Modernization on GCP.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform or other IaC tools.
- Strong understanding of networking, storage, and cloud-native security.
- Excellent collaboration, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
