Job Description
The Consultant – Microsoft Azure will lead infrastructure management, automation, and optimization initiatives across cloud environments. The role involves designing Azure IaaS solutions, implementing Terraform automation, and driving operational efficiency through modern cloud practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage large-scale Azure IaaS environments using Azure Resource Manager and Terraform.
- Automate provisioning and configuration of infrastructure with Terraform scripts.
- Monitor and optimize operations using Azure monitoring and governance tools.
- Mentor operations teams in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and cloud incident management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop compliant and scalable Azure-based solutions.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to integrate new Azure features and automation practices.
- Maintain detailed operational documentation and runbooks for all cloud-managed services.
Skill Requirements
- Strong expertise in Terraform automation for Azure environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Windows Server administration within cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Azure cost management, monitoring, and governance.
- Experience leading and mentoring technical teams in cloud operations.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
