Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will design, build, and operate highly reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure platforms. You will play a key role in automation, observability, and system performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Rancher-managed Kubernetes clusters using RKE2 / K3s
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Helm, and Argo CD
- Optimize Linux systems, including performance, networking, and kernel-level tuning
- Implement monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack
- Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines aligned with PCI, FIPS, and CIS benchmarks
- Apply SRE best practices to improve reliability and operational excellence
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes (RKE2/K3s) and Rancher environments
- Proficiency in Python or Go for automation and scripting
- Deep knowledge of Linux systems, performance tuning, and bare-metal optimization
- Hands-on experience with observability tools
- Familiarity with OpenStack integration
- Experience with Rancher add-ons such as Fleet and Longhorn
