💼 Job Description – Azure Databricks Data Engineer / Developer
Infosys is hiring talented Azure Databricks Data Engineers / Developers to design, build, and manage scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions. This role focuses on Databricks, PySpark, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and modern data architecture to support enterprise data platforms.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and data streams
- Build and optimize ETL / ELT processes using Databricks and ADF
- Transform and move data across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers
- Develop solutions using Python, PySpark, Spark, SQL
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver analytics solutions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and consistency
- Develop and maintain:
- Data models
- Data dictionaries
- Data governance policies
- Implement and maintain data quality checks
- Define and enforce data security policies and procedures
- Ensure scalable, reliable, and high-performance data solutions
