Job Description:
Infosys is seeking an experienced AS400 Administrator to join our Cloud & Infrastructure Services team in Bangalore. The candidate will manage and maintain AS400 systems, troubleshoot MQ Series, and support backup and recovery operations. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and client interfacing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop value-creating strategies to drive client innovation and growth.
- Manage software configuration systems and environment setups.
- Stay updated on latest technologies and industry trends.
- Analyze current processes, identify improvement areas, and suggest technology solutions.
- Manage projects and teams effectively, with client interfacing.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Location of posting is subject to business requirements.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Technical and Professional Requirements:
- Working knowledge of BRMS backup & recovery.
- Experience with VTL (Datadomain/DSI).
- Troubleshooting MQ on IBM i (AS400).
- Hands-on experience with CL programming.
- Managing physical file members (compile and run).
- Knowledge of JIRA and environment management is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Technology -> AS/400 technologies -> MQ Series with AS400
