Job Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join the AWS Professional Services team in India. This role is perfect for candidates passionate about leveraging Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), and AI technologies to solve real-world business problems and drive innovation across enterprise clients.
As part of AWS ProServe India LLP, you’ll collaborate with leading organizations to design, build, and operationalize ML and DL models on AWS Cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business needs and deliver end-to-end ML/DL solutions using AWS AI Services and Platforms.
- Develop predictive models using frameworks like TensorFlow, MXNet, Keras, Caffe2, Theano, CNTK.
- Build and deploy ML pipelines using SparkML and Amazon Machine Learning tools.
- Partner with Big Data and DevOps consultants to process and operationalize data solutions.
- Identify and mitigate model drift through retraining and optimization.
- Research and implement innovative AI and FPGA-based ML/DL approaches.
About the Team
The AWS Professional Services team is a unique consulting group focused on AI enablement and cloud transformation for enterprise clients. The team collaborates with multiple internal AWS divisions, empowering organizations to adopt and scale cloud technologies effectively.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in Data Science, AI/ML, or related technical domains.
- Expertise in Deep Learning frameworks – MXNet, Caffe2, TensorFlow, Theano, CNTK, Keras.
- Experience in Machine Learning tools – SparkML, Amazon ML, and data analytics pipelines.
- Proven ability to deliver complex ML/DL projects end-to-end.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in IT platform implementation or consulting roles.
- Strong background in databases – SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis.
- Proficiency in cloud architecture, especially AWS Cloud.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
