📝 Job Description
As an Application Tech Support Practitioner, you will act as a critical interface between clients and enterprise applications. You will ensure seamless operations of world-class systems by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues with high efficiency and accuracy.
This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience in enterprise networking environments.
🔑 Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as the primary support interface between clients and applications
- Diagnose and resolve application and infrastructure-related issues
- Provide L1 & L2 support for enterprise systems
- Design and implement resolutions based on deep product knowledge
- Ensure high availability and performance of applications and services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on upgrades, migrations, and projects
- Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and network diagrams
- Participate in incident management and problem resolution
⚙️ Technical Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support LAN, WAN, and Data Center networks
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Routing & Switching platforms
- Deploy and manage Cisco Nexus 9000 series switches
- Administer Cisco ASA / FTD / FortiGate Firewalls
- Manage Meraki SD-WAN solutions
- Provide Tier-2 support for routing, switching, and security issues
- Assist with F5 Load Balancers and Cisco ISE
- Use network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Prime, etc.
🧠 Professional & Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus 9K
- Firewall expertise: Cisco ASA, Firepower, FortiGate
- SD-WAN (Meraki) deployment & troubleshooting
- Basic understanding of F5 Load Balancing & Cisco ISE
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
