Oracle is hiring an experienced Site Reliability Developer 4 (Principal SRE) to join its Fusion Site Reliability Engineering Middleware (FSRE-MW) team. This role focuses on ensuring high availability, performance, automation, and operational excellence for Oracle Cloud Fusion Applications.
You will work on large-scale distributed systems, drive AI-powered automation, and manage mission-critical cloud services with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Develop AI-powered automation to reduce manual operations
- Lead L3 WebLogic Administration and Middleware operations
- Own production services and ensure high availability
- Participate in major incident management and root cause analysis
- Implement telemetry, monitoring, and predictive analytics
- Improve system resiliency using AI/ML-driven solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product teams
🎯 Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years overall IT experience
- 6+ years in SRE / DevOps / Systems Engineering
- Strong Python or Unix Shell scripting
- Oracle WebLogic Administration (Linux/Unix)
- AI-driven monitoring & predictive analytics
- Incident management & automation frameworks
- Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, DataDog, PagerDuty
- CI/CD, REST APIs, Infrastructure-as-a-Service
- Performance tuning & scalability concepts
- GitHub, JIRA, Agile practices
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience in large-scale distributed systems
- Willingness to work in on-call rotations
