Oracle has officially announced the availability of Oracle Database@Google Cloud in India, marking a major milestone in multicloud adoption for Indian enterprises. The new service is available through the Google Cloud Asia-South 1 (Mumbai) region, allowing customers to run Oracle’s most advanced AI-powered database services directly within their chosen Google Cloud environment.
This launch enables organizations to improve AI productivity, analytics performance, data sovereignty compliance, and accelerate IT modernization using a seamless multicloud architecture.
Meeting India’s Data Residency and Compliance Requirements
With increasing regulatory and data sovereignty requirements across industries such as banking, healthcare, telecom, and government, Oracle Database@Google Cloud helps customers keep their data in-region while leveraging Google Cloud services. Enterprises can now securely access Oracle database services without moving data outside India.
Additionally, customers can procure Oracle Database@Google Cloud through the Google Cloud Marketplace, leveraging existing Google Cloud commitments for simplified billing and contracting.

A fully managed database platform that automates provisioning, patching, tuning, backups, and scaling using AI and ML. It supports over 48 billion queries per hour and includes built-in threat detection and remediation.
Oracle Autonomous AI Lakehouse
Combines Apache Iceberg open data formats with Oracle AI Database and integrates seamlessly with Google BigQuery, BigLake, Vertex AI, and Gemini models for enterprise-wide AI and analytics.

Industry-First Oracle Database@Google Cloud Partner Program
Oracle and Google Cloud have launched an industry-first reseller partner program in India. Eligible partners from both the Google Cloud Partner Advantage program and Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) can resell Oracle Database@Google Cloud through private offers on the Google Cloud Marketplace.
This initiative empowers system integrators and consulting partners to deliver modern multicloud solutions tailored to enterprise needs.
