IBM is hiring Quality Engineer – Full Stack professionals to join its IBM Consulting Client Innovation Center in Bangalore. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality delivery of full stack applications, covering frontend, backend, APIs, and databases.
As a Quality Engineer, you will work closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to validate end-to-end functionality, performance, and reliability of modern enterprise applications.
🔧 Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end testing of full stack applications (UI, backend, APIs, databases)
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases
- Validate application functionality across different environments
- Collaborate with developers to identify, log, and track defects
- Ensure software quality across all phases of the SDLC
- Support Agile/Scrum teams during sprint planning and releases
- Participate in regression, integration, and system testing activities
- Ensure applications meet functional, performance, and security standards
🧠 Required Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts & methodologies
- Knowledge of full stack application architecture
- Experience testing:
- Frontend (UI/UX)
- Backend services & APIs
- Databases
- Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Ability to analyze requirements and convert them into test scenarios
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills

- Exposure to automation testing tools
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of web technologies and APIs
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team
🎓 Educational Qualification
