🔹 Key Responsibilities
✅ AWS Platform BAU Operations
- Provide L2/L3 operational support across multiple AWS accounts
- Handle incidents, monitoring, troubleshooting, and service recovery
- Manage AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, EKS/ECS, CloudWatch, Route53, KMS, Auto Scaling, ALB/NLB, EFS, Secrets Manager
✅ Onboarding & Transition
- Take operational handover from Engineering and SRE teams
- Validate SOPs, runbooks, KBAs, architecture documents
- Ensure compliance with security baselines, tagging, governance, SCPs
✅ Incident, Problem & Change Management
- Work with ServiceNow ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request)
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and change impact assessments
✅ Automation & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor using CloudWatch, Config, ServiceNow, Jenkins
- Automate tasks using Python, Shell, CloudFormation, Terraform (good to have)
- Improve cost, performance, and reliability
✅ Compliance & Security
- Support audits, access reviews, backup/DR validation
- Enforce security policies, vulnerability remediation, patching
✅ Stakeholder Collaboration
- Coordinate with Security, IAM, Network, SRE, FinOps teams
- Provide operational reports and metrics to stakeholders
🔹 Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–8+ years in AWS Cloud Operations (L2/L3)
- Strong ServiceNow ITSM experience
- Hands-on AWS services:
- EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail
- EKS/ECS, ALB/NLB, Auto Scaling, Route53, KMS
- Knowledge of networking, DNS, VPN, Transit Gateway
- Experience with IaC & CI/CD (CloudFormation, Terraform, Jenkins)
- Scripting skills: Python, Bash, Shell
- Experience in regulated / compliance-driven environments preferred
