Capgemini is hiring experienced Linux Administrators to manage, automate, and optimize enterprise Linux infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about Linux systems, cloud platforms, automation, security, and high-availability environments.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE)
- Manage Linux systems in physical, virtual, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Configure and manage LVM, RAID, and Linux file systems
- Implement and enforce security policies, user access, and authentication
- Support OS build, patching, upgrades, and obsolescence remediation
- Manage core Linux services: DNS, DHCP, NTP, NFS, Samba, Apache/Nginx, SSH, FTP
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability
- Automate tasks using shell scripting and automation tools
- Troubleshoot system, performance, and security issues
🎯 Required Skills & Experience
- 4–12 years of hands-on Linux administration experience
- Strong expertise in Linux OS (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE)
- Experience with cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, GCP
- Proficiency in shell scripting, automation, and performance tuning
- Knowledge of system security monitoring and best practices
- Experience managing enterprise Linux environments with high availability
