⚙️ Job Description – Windows Admin
Infosys is inviting applications for the role of Windows Administrator, responsible for managing enterprise Windows environments, supporting servers and endpoints, ensuring security compliance, and handling critical incidents. This role plays a key part in maintaining stable and secure IT operations across business environments.
🔧 Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and support Windows endpoints and Windows Server environments
- Perform server administration, configuration, upgrades, and patching
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, O365 applications, Outlook, and server issues
- Support datacenter operations and endpoint security management
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Servers
- Work with virtualization technologies
- Handle major incidents and perform root cause analysis in Windows domains
- Follow ITIL and ITSM processes including SLA, Change, and Release Management
- Work with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution
- Maintain clear documentation and provide operational support
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and end users
🧠 Technical & Professional Requirements
✅ Mandatory Skills
- 3–4 years of experience in Windows Administration
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and endpoint management
- Hands-on experience with O365 applications
- Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Expertise in:
- Active Directory
- DNS
- DHCP
- File Servers
- Experience with datacenter and endpoint security management
- Ability to manage critical incidents in Windows environments
- Understanding of ITIL / ITSM processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
⭐ Preferred Skills
- Windows Server Administration
- Experience with ServiceNow / Remedy
- Exposure to enterprise virtualization platforms
