💼 Job Description – Principal Consultant, AWS
Genpact is inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant – AWS.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring reliability, availability, performance, and security of cloud platforms while leading CI/CD automation, Kubernetes operations, and AWS infrastructure design.
This position suits experienced Senior SRE / Cloud Engineers who thrive in large-scale, high-availability environments and enjoy solving complex cloud challenges.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, focusing on security and vulnerability mitigation
- Automate workflows using Python scripting to enhance CI/CD utilities
- Manage large-scale infrastructure and multiple Kubernetes clusters
- Design and implement AWS infrastructure solutions using:
- AWS CDK
- Core AWS services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications and infrastructure
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability
🎓 Qualifications Required
✅ Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related STEM field
- Proven experience in a Senior SRE or similar role
- Strong expertise in CI/CD deployments (AWS DevOps)
- Working knowledge of Python / JavaScript / TypeScript for automation
- Hands-on experience managing large-scale infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters
- Experience developing backend services using Node.js
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
⭐ Preferred Qualifications / Skills
- Experience with ArgoCD and Kustomize
- Strong working knowledge of AWS CDK and core AWS services
- Solid understanding of security best practices in software development
- Experience operating cloud platforms at enterprise scale
