The Opportunity
UST is hiring a Lab Technician for Semiconductor Product Validation. This role is ideal for candidates with strong exposure to Linux systems, hardware setups, and semiconductor testing environments, who are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced lab setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Linux operating systems and Linux command-line tools
- Understand x86 hardware architecture and system components
- Build, configure, and maintain hardware test setups
- Operate lab instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and thermal chambers
- Handle and maintain test inventories and lab assets
- Perform first-level hardware board debugging
- Document test activities and communicate findings clearly
- Adapt quickly to new tools, platforms, and testing environments
- Take ownership of assigned lab responsibilities
Required Skills
- Working knowledge of Linux OS
- Basic understanding of hardware debugging
- Familiarity with semiconductor or hardware testing environments
- Exposure to electronic testing tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility
