Job Overview
Intuit, a global financial technology leader powering prosperity for over 100 million customers worldwide, is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for its Identity, Profile & Customer Products team in Bangalore. This critical engineering role focuses on building and operating highly scalable, always-available Profile Services used across Intuit’s product ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and implement scalable solutions following business operations best practices.
- Review product requirements and architecture to establish operational standards.
- Build strong internal and external technical relationships to support “always-on” software services.
- Lead end-to-end incident management, including RCA, responses, and communication processes.
- Develop operational playbooks, improve tools, and optimize processes across the business unit.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PM, QA/QE, and platform teams.
- Drive operational excellence and DevOps maturity across services.
- Participate in Agile, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming development methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- MS/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years managing large-scale applications on AWS Cloud.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and native AWS services.
- Expertise in automation using Python, Ruby, Go, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Wavefront, Splunk, AppDynamics, CloudWatch, Telegraph).
- Familiarity with CI/CD (Spinnaker, CodePipeline) and configuration tools (Chef, Puppet, SALT, Ansible).
- Strong leadership and communication capabilities to guide cross-functional teams.
- Ability to write technical documentation, incident reports, and monitoring configurations.
- Deep understanding of RCA processes, deployment management, and operational improvements.
