Job Description:
Infosys is looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Quality team in Bangalore. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing large-scale distributed systems on cloud platforms, integrating automation and AI/ML-driven observability, and improving system reliability and performance. The ideal candidate has strong programming skills, cloud expertise, and experience in DevOps and AIOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement service lifecycles from conception to deployment.
- Develop software solutions for large-scale distributed systems handling millions of transactions and petabytes of data.
- Manage capacity, performance, and scaling for public and private cloud infrastructures.
- Define and implement system architecture, deployment standards, metrics, and operational best practices.
- Monitor system health, incident response, and uptime performance.
- Automate operational tasks, improve efficiency, and refine processes using AI and ML technologies.
- Integrate Generative AI (GenAI) and AIOps tools for incident detection, root cause analysis, and resolution.
- Apply prompt engineering to enhance AI-based observability platforms.
- Leverage cloud-specific AI capabilities (AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, GCP Vertex AI) for intelligent SRE solutions.
- Develop AI/ML-driven monitoring and alerting systems for anomaly detection and predictive failure analysis.
- Evaluate and deploy AIOps platforms like Moogsoft, Dynatrace, Splunk, BigPanda, Datadog, and Elastic.
- Work with programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or GoLang, using Object-Oriented Programming principles.
