The Catalyst Engineering Routing team builds industry-leading SD-WAN and edge routing platforms. Work spans routing, security, analytics, telemetry and machine learning across large-scale, distributed systems.

Your Impact
You’ll work on cutting-edge SD-WAN and routing technologies, helping define and develop new architectures for next-generation platforms. The role includes contributing to ASIC-related work, building and testing forwarding components, and driving engineering improvements across teams.

Required Skills
- 5+ years of software development experience in networking and platform engineering.
- Strong C programming skills with experience in large codebases and device drivers.
- Hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX system software and performance engineering.
- Solid understanding of LAN/WAN interfaces and Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols.
- Experience with debugging tools (GDB, Arium, BDI) and automation using Shell, Python, Perl or TCL.
- Proven ability to design and maintain embedded system software in cross-functional teams.
Good to Have
- Kernel bring-up, driver development and cloud networking expertise.
- Experience debugging hardware interfaces (I2C, PCIe).
- Familiarity with x86/ARM assembly and DPDK.
- Strong team collaboration skills in fast-moving environments.
